Responsibilities

* Participating actively in software design discussions

* Managing a small group of developers and ensuring quality deliverables

* Writing code that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns

* Diagnosing performance bottlenecks and implementing optimizations

* A passion for technology and its use to solve complex business problems in a timely and robust manner.

* Work effectively with client support teams and implementation architects to resolve application issues.

* Working in a team with mentoring juniors.

KSA

* Knowledge

* Excellent communication skills - written & verbal

* Should have worked in designing and creating mid to large systems

* Ability to deal with the inherent ambiguity related to program definition, analysis, design and exercise good judgment in line with the company"s overall goals

* Excellent analytical skills and creativity in proposing multiple options/solutions to a requirement, and select the best based on various priorities like time for development, usability, maintainability, etc

* Good understanding of software technologies and methodologies, especially any forms of Agile

* Good understanding of object-oriented approaches to software development

* Skills

* Core Java with Springs and Web services as MUST

* Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA will be an advantage

* Oracle, SQL queries

* Abilities

* Proactive - Ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes
